This four-chapter monograph provides updates in the field of agricultural research. Chapter One assesses the risks to human health and the environment posed by potentially toxic elements in the soil-grapevine-air systems of vineyards. Chapter Two describes the optimal techniques for proper crop rotation based on factors such as the local economy, soil, weather, and logistics, particularly in the north-western region of the cold temperate Canadian prairies.
