After trying her hand in theatre and films, Montrealer Anne Dandurand has devoted all her time to writing. The author of numerous short story collections and novels, four of her books have been translated into English. Dandurand has participated in events across North America as well as the United States, France, Germany, Switzerland and Holland.

Luise von Flotow is a translation studies professor at the University of Ottawa. She has translated a number of books for Guernica, including Doubly Suspect, Girls Closed In, and The Stalinist's Wife She lives in Ottawa, Ontario.
