The Britfield Universe
Before diving into Book IV, it’s worth taking a step back to appreciate what makes this series so special.
“It started as a sketch I did of a hot air balloon with a young boy and girl trapped inside. From this simple drawing sprang the entire concept and story for Britfield.” – C.R. Stewart
What began as a sketch of a hot air balloon turned into an acclaimed series that follows orphans, Tom and Sarah, as they uncover secrets about Tom’s mysterious past. In The Lost Crown, they escape the oppressive Weatherly Orphanage and embark on a dangerous journey across England. The Rise of the Lion takes them through Europe, where they confront a shadowy group protecting the royal bloodline. In The Return of the Prince, they face assassins in Italy, uncovering devastating truths along the way. With nonstop action and historical intrigue, the first three books in the series lay the foundation for an epic, winding journey that unfolds across the remaining four books.
The Adventure Continues
Britfield & the Eastern Empire picks up where the journey left off. After barely escaping Venice, Italy, Tom, Sarah, and Hunter find themselves trapped in Austria for six months, relentlessly hunted by the military and police. Meanwhile, their allies Oliver, Kate, and Henry have relocated to Poland, desperately searching for a way to help them escape.
As Kate and Sarah uncover clues about three stolen Britfield artifacts once held by the Habsburgs and Romanovs, they realize that when combined, these relics could unlock a treasure map of unimaginable riches. But time is running out. The sinister Committee is closing in, and the Resistance is in danger.
From high-speed chases to daring underwater escapes, this heart-racing adventure takes readers across Vienna, Prague Castle, the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Warsaw, and beyond. Packed with revelations, betrayals, and a touch of romance, Britfield & the Eastern Empire is an exhilarating ride from start to finish.
And just when you think it couldn’t get any more exciting, brace yourself for a cliffhanger that will leave you counting down the days until the next book!
