November Book of the Month: Oracle of the Inbetween

Oracle of the Inbetween - Oracle Deck with cards displayed behind it.

Everyone knows that once you get to the end of the year, you’re going to start a little bit of reflection. How did the year go? Did you complete your New Year's resolution? Would you have done things differently? I, for one, love to reflect, especially when it comes to better understanding myself. I may not be overly spiritual, but when I was introduced to the Oracle of the Inbetween, I just knew it was going to be one of my favourite releases of 2024. With 48 stunning cards and an incredible guidebook, this is a title you do not want to miss out on!

What is the Oracle of the Inbetween?

Oracle decks might seem similar to standard tarot card decks, but the difference lies in their symbolism. Oracle decks are often channelled through the artist or creator, whereas tarot relies on 78 cards that use specific symbolism to tell a story. Oracle cards will have different meanings and uses depending on the deck you choose.

Oracle cards are typically used for mindfulness practices such as daily affirmations, spiritual guidance, and personal introspection. They are perfect for those seeking clarity in their personal life, self-development, or spiritual path. These decks are much more beginner-friendly than tarot decks and offer an excellent way to develop your intuition.

“Oracle of the In-Between offers an extraordinary journey into the deepest corners of our inner worlds. Illuminating hidden pathways for accessing our birthright to coded memories, the magical artwork and poetic whispers of each vignette unleash a powerful alchemy of divine revelations.” ~Andi Rosenau, publisher, Sacred Dragon Publishing

The Oracle of the Inbetween is a versatile tool that can be used in various ways. Whether you’re seeking daily affirmations, spiritual guidance, or a deeper understanding of your inner self, this deck has you covered. Personally, I’ve found the cards to be incredibly insightful, offering new perspectives on situations and helping me navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity.

Artwork and Design

One of my favourite features of the Oracle of the Inbetween is the breathtaking artwork by Yasmeen Westwood. Even before beginning any readings, the beautifully designed cards transport you to a whole new realm, immediately inviting a connection. Each card is a masterpiece full of brightness and stunning details. The imagery encourages users to delve deeper into their subconscious. This artwork, paired with the mastery of Tracee Dunblazier, makes for an incredible pair, leading you to explore the liminal spaces within us—those places of transition and transformation that hold the keys to our deepest truths.

How to Get Started

For those new to oracle decks, it can be a bit daunting at first, but the Oracle of the Inbetween makes it a breeze! Here are a few simple ways to get started:

  1. Familiarise Yourself with the Deck: Look at each card, read the guidebook, and get a feel for the imagery and messages.
  2. Formulate a Question or Intention: Why do you want to use an oracle deck? What type of guidance are you seeking?
  3. Conduct a Reading: There are many methods for drawing cards, such as a single card draw, three-card spread, or an intuitive spread.

When conducting a reading, remember that while the guidebook provides valuable information and guidance, you must also pay attention to your initial thoughts and feelings. Trust your intuition. Approach each reading with an open and curious mind; this allows you to explore their meanings freely.

The Oracle of the Inbetween is not just a deck of cards; it's a journey into self-discovery and transformation. Whether you're new to oracle decks or an experienced reader, this deck offers something unique and powerful. Its stunning artwork, combined with Tracee Dunblazier’s profound insights, makes it an essential addition to anyone's spiritual toolkit.

Don’t miss out on this extraordinary release of 2024.
