Dr VanVactor is an active duty healthcare administrator who specializes in logistics and supply chain management within the United States Army medical service corps. He has been in the U.S. military since 1989 when he began his career as an enlisted man and later received a commission as a second lieutenant via the U.S. Army's intra-service officer candidate school program. Throughout his career, he has been involved in a variety of supply chain and emergency management roles and has deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom multiple times.
