Rosie MacPherson is a writer and actress from the UK. Rosie is currently writing her third play Tanja, which has been shortlisted for the Old Vic New Voices T.S Eliot Commission and Contact Theatre's Flying Solo commission. Set in Yarl's Wood Immigration centre and based on real life events. It is the story of one woman's bravery in the midst of prejudice and abuse. 
Rosie's acting credits include Before I Go To Sleep directed by Rowan Joffe (28 Weeks Later) for Scott Free Productions; lead roles in super-natural TV pilot Border Queen and British sci-fi feature Run Away With Me; Doctors (BBC), Ideal (BBC), Emmerdale (ITV), The Plantation (BBC, BAFTA Nominated), What's The Story (C4), Club Skin (Cannes Film Festival) and Powder (Theatrical Release).
