Sebastian Haumann (Prof. Dr.), geb. 1981, ist Professor für Wirtschafts-, Sozial- und Umweltgeschichte an der Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg. Er ist Mitglied im DFG-Netzwerk »Stoffgeschichte« und promovierte und habilitierte an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt zur Geschichte des Kalksteins als Industrierohstoff.

Martin Knoll (Prof. Dr. phil.), geb. 1969, lehrt Europäische Regionalgeschichte an der Universität Salzburg. Seine Forschungssschwerpunkte sind Umweltgeschichte, Kulturgeschichte der Frühen Neuzeit, die historische Entwicklung der Stadt-Hinterland- Beziehungen und Tourismusgeschichte.

Detlev Mares (Dr. phil.), geb. 1965, unterrichtet Neuere Geschichte an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Britische Geschichte, populäre politische Kultur und Geschichtsdidaktik.
