A collection of Phillott's articles published from 1906 to 1910 in the Journal & Proceedings of the Asiatic Society of Bengal. Most are on falconry and raptors but it includes articles on houbara, on hunting dogs, and on coursing with cheetahs. There is a new introduction by the editor and publisher, Kenyon Gibson, who also contributes new illustrations for the frontispiece and chapter headings.
