Sheilagh O'Leary is an award-winning art photographer from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Her work has been exhibited internationally and has appeared in numerous art journals and publications. O'Leary received her art education through Concordia University's Faculty of Fine Art, Banff Centre for the Arts, and the Rockport Maine Workshops. Human Natured is her most recent showing in a photographic career spanning 17 years.

Lisa Moore was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, and was educated at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her first novel, Alligator, won the 2006 Commonwealth Writers' Prize Best Book Award, Caribbean and Canada Region and was nominated for the IMPAC Dublin Award and the Giller Prize. Her latest novel, February, was nominated for the 2010 Man Booker Prize.
