This book provides an in-depth insight into the various issues associated with off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting. This book is divided into three sections. Section 1 focuses on the outcomes of off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting while sections 2 & 3 address concerns and controversies associated with this revascularisation strategy in an evidence-based manner. This book stands out for its readability, conciseness and clear illustrations and offers a clear and didactic style, presenting information in the form of lists and tables for quick and easy reference. The editors and authors are recognised experts in off-pump surgery, and draw on their vast experience to provide a book that will serve not only as a basic manual for cardiac surgeons, both practising as well as in-training, but also as an invaluable compendium of readily understood information for cardiologists, anaesthetists, intensivists, nurses and general practitioners.
