Amie Cawood is a paramedic in Brisbane, Australia. Her passion is helping people which has inspired her to create books for children to learn about the emergency services. Amie started writing kids stories as a hobby in between shifts and family life. Growing up in the Aussie bush surrounded by Australian native animals and her experiences helping kids in her job helped shape the creation of her vision. With cute characters and everyday situations for children to relate to, her stories make an important topic fun and enjoyable for every family.
