Andy Gillentine is an associate professor and co-ordinator of the Sport Administration Program at the University of Miami. His research interests are sport marketing, professional development, and management issues in sport theory. He served as athletic director and coach for over 15 years and as Executive Director of MAHPERD. Dr Gillentine is recognised for his expertise in sport management curriculum and program development. He served on the Sport Management Program Review Council Executive Board for three years and frequently serves as a consultant in this area. He also served as Chair of the National Sport Management Council (AAHPERD). He has conducted marketing research projects for the Ladies Professional Golf Association; the NASDAQ 100-Open; World Championship Wrestling, Inc.; and the Mississippi Coaches Association. Dr Gillentine's work has resulted in forty publications and over 90 national and international presentations.
R Brian Crow is currently in his fourth year as Associate Professor of Sport Management in the Department of Sport Management at Slippery Rock University, where he teaches Sport Marketing and Sport Communication at the undergraduate level and Sport Marketing and Sport Budget and Finance in the graduate program. He is presently the President of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM). Prior to this election, Crow was NASSM's Business Office Manager for two years and a Member-at-Large on the Executive Council. Crow recently ended his three-year tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the Sport Marketing Quarterly, a publication for which he presently serves as a member of the Editorial Review Board. As Editor of SMQ, Crow was a founding board member of the Sport Marketing Association. In 2005, Crow started a sport marketing and fan consultation company, GameDay Consulting, LLC, a firm specialising in the training, certification, and monitoring of GameDay employees at sport! venues.
