Mirko Seebeck, born in Detmold in 1986, lives in Düsseldorf and Wroclaw. While searching for his own roots, he fell in love with Wroclaw and now writes about the beautiful city on the Oder River together with his partner on the city blog WroclawGuide.com and in other media. Using an origami canoe and a drone, he approaches the city from an unusual perspective. In autumn 2020, he published his debut - an alternative travel guide for Wroclaw, that features 100 extraordinary places in the city. He also let many other people connected with Wroclaw have their say, sharing their personal favourite spots with the readers. With his work, he won the German self-publishing book award 2021 in the non-fiction/guidebook category.
