Amandeep Gill, studied Engineering in Chandigarh and dabbled in French, theatre and quizzing. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1992 and has since served in Geneva, Tehran and Colombo. He spent a year at Stanford University as a research scholar in 2008-9 and now heads the Disarmament & International Security Affairs Division of the Ministry of External Affairs at New Delhi. Nuclear negotiations are his specialty and poetry.
