Godfrey Harris has been preparing managerial options to everyday activities political programs,
event planning, household moving, project development for the past 50+ years as a public policy
consultant. Prior to co-founding Harris/Ragan Management Group in 1968, Harris taught political science at two universities and was a U.S. diplomat in three world capitals. While recuperating from back surgery, he realized that caregiving services could benefit from the same kind of planning, record keeping and management approaches he had applied to many other topics.
Kenny Katz is a management consultant in Palm Desert, California. Prior to returning to his native state in 1998, Katz was Managing Director of Destination Marketing in London, a firm he founded to offer a comprehensive array of services to the tourism industry. Over the years, his company represented the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Tourism Council of the South Pacific, AMTRAK, Air Nevada, the States of Alaska, Hawaii, New York, and Utah, the cities of Anaheim, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, and San Francisco and many hotel, bus, and tour companies in the United Kingdom and Europe. Katz received a bachelors degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Harvard University. Early in his career, he created and implemented tourism concepts in Hawaii that would later become known as Time Sharing and AirBnB. Katz is the co-author (with Godfrey Harris) of two editions of Promoting International Tourism. He has served as President of the Society of Tourism Industry Representatives, a member of the Board of the Caribbean Tourism Organization, a member of the European Steering Committee of PATA, and as an advisor to the US Travel and Tourism Administration.
