Elreta Dodds is a Licensed Professional Counsellor, board certified through the American Psychotherapy Association. She is also licensed through the state of Michigan as a Masters Social Worker with specialities in clinical and macro practices. In addition, she is an ordained minister with many years of theological training and study. She is certified in advanced church ministry by the Evangelical Training Association and certified in ministry by the Faith Center for Christian Education. She has a Master of Arts degree in guidance and counselling as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, both of which were obtained from Wayne State University, where she graduated with honours. She teaches courses in community services as an adjunct instructor at Siena Heights University.
